Prerequisite: FNAR 119 and 224 with a grade of C- or

higher or consent of instructor.

This is a course in oil painting which emphasizes direct

observation. The student will be encouraged to begin developing

individual expression through assigned problems

that not only require observational skill but added creative

thought. Growth in visual design aesthetic will be stressed

through individual and group critique. The student must

purchase all personal and expendable art material.
