• The application packet MUST be received by the department no later than March 6, 2009. The packet MUST include the items below.

• Application Form.
• Essay.  Discuss why you believe you are worthy of an Art Dept Scholarship.  In your essay explain your background, your academic achievements, and your aspirations in the field of studio art or art history and how the scholarship can help you achieve your goals.
• Portfolio/Writing Sample.  Studio Artists must submit a digital portfolio of 10-15 of your best works along with an artist’s statement.  Submissions should be made on a CD.  Art Historians must submit a writing sample of 10-12 pages in length along with your resume.
