One of the newest additions to the Department of Fine Art & Art History, Friends of the Visual Arts for Christopher Newport University (FVA-CNU) is open to anyone in the university community as well as in the Hampton Roads community who has a deep interest in supporting and the advancement of the visual arts at CNU.

FVA-CNU members will work toward providing scholarship assistance to ArtCNU students. The organization is also committed to providing funds to support art related workshops for the benefit of ArtCNU students as well as the community at large. FVA-CNU members know that visual art is a cultural resource that should be seen by the public and to that end the organization will assist ArtCNU students in finding venues for showing their work.
