A major in Fine Art or Art History develops one's awareness of the historical continuum of the visual arts as a critical element of the human experience, emphasizing the importance of imagination and creative power. Students may choose either a studio art or an art history concentration as well as the opportunity to pursue the MAT in teaching. The department prides itself on a low student-to-faculty ratio, providing our majors and minors with personal, one-on-one interaction with their professors.
